SaaS MVP: a real app, not a mockup

Plotboard is a made-up project tracker for small agencies. Sign in as one of three people, and you'll see the app change with your role. You can create, edit and delete projects and clients, invite teammates, and switch plans in test mode. Everything is saved in your browser, so it's still there after a reload.

What's real and what isn't

RealThe app logic: validation, role permissions checked on every write (not just hidden buttons), plan limits, search, sort, the activity log and saving data. You can run the 28 unit tests yourself on the Self-tests page.
SimulatedThere's no server. Sign-in is a mock (password demo1234, kept in your browser), and data lives in your browser's localStorage. Billing is test mode, so no payment form exists and no money moves. In a client build, these become a real backend (for example Supabase or Postgres with an API), real auth and Stripe.
SamplePlotboard, the agency, its clients and its people are fictional. Emails use .example domains.
AI useAI tools helped write the code and the copy. A person at Oarsman AI reviewed it, and it's covered by the tests.
