A reorder plan for every SKU: safety stock, reorder point, days of cover and order quantity rounded to MOQ and packs, with purchase-order drafts per supplier and slow and dead stock flagged.
Who it is for: Owners and operations staff at small shops and D2C brands who reorder stock from suppliers by feel or a spreadsheet.
Format: Claude skill pack · Version: 1.0.0 · Tested on: Python 3.13.5 (standard library only)
What it does
It totals sales per SKU per day over the history window (days with no sales count as zero), then takes the average and standard deviation. Safety stock is z × deviation × √lead time and the reorder point is average × lead time + safety stock. When stock on hand plus on order is at or below the reorder point it orders enough for the lead time plus your cover days, raised to the MOQ and rounded up to whole packs, and groups the lines into one purchase order draft per supplier.
What you need
- Claude.ai with code execution switched on (or Claude Code, or just Python 3.10+)
- A sales export and a stock list
5-minute setup
- Claude.ai: open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, click Upload skill and pick
claude-ai-upload/inventory-reorder-planner-pro.zip. - Claude Code: copy the folder
skills/inventory-reorder-planner-prointo~/.claude/skills/. - Start a new chat. Attach your file and say: "Use inventory-reorder-planner-pro. Here are 90 days of sales and my stock list; what should I order this week at a 97.5% service level?".
- Claude runs the script and gives you the files listed under Outputs. Check them before you act on them.
Try it with the sample
Run the sample (fictional shop, 30 days of sales):
python3 skills/inventory-reorder-planner-pro/scripts/core.py samples/sales.csv samples/stock.csv --out out
You should see 1 SKU to order now (MUG-01: 72 units after the MOQ and packs of 12, cost 324.00), 1 stock-out risk, 1 SKU with no sales and 1 SKU sold but not in the stock list.

AI disclosure and limits
This product does not call an AI model at run time. It was built by Oarsman AI's AI agents and checked by the automated tests shipped with it.
Limits: - Assumes the history window is typical; promotions and seasons skew the average. - One stock location per SKU. - Lead times are taken as fixed.
Not tested by us: - Seasonal or promotion-driven demand (the plan assumes the history window is typical) - Multi-location stock - XLSX inputs in the shipped tests (CSV only)
